Ingredients

4 chicken leg quarters

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp dried thyme

½ tsp dried oregano

1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Prepare the chicken by patting it dry with paper towels.

Season the chicken: In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, and oregano. Rub this mixture all over the chicken leg quarters.

Arrange on a baking sheet, skin-side up, ensuring they are not touching for even cooking.

Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 175°F (80°C) and the skin is crispy.

Rest the chicken for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

              Notes

              • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 3-5 minutes.
              • Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
              • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
